Volume 3: The Taros Campaign is a landmark of Imperial Armour series for it was the very book which established current IA book format consisting of both campaign fluff and detailed unit profiles (earlier 4 IA books were focused on descriptions of units only, not events).
This book was released almost immediately after recent Tau Empire codex and contains all (barring few super heavies updated in IA Apoc) the rules for Forgeworld Tau Empire units as well as full army list for Elysian drop regiment.

Sunday, April 20th, 2014Malcador Battle Tank is one of oldest and most venerable vehicles still in service at Astra Militarum in 41st millenium. In most panzer regiments it’s replaced by faster and more versatile Leman Russ tank.
It was not always this way. During Great Crusade Malcador Tanks were renowned for their high speed, but since then, as a result of technological decay Imperium has lost ability to properly worship their machine spirits and oil their engines. They become unreliable and weren’t performing as well as they used to.

Astra Militarum Codex – a review
Tuesday, April 15th, 2014Taking a break from FW army list series, let me share few thoughts on new Astra Militarum (Imperial Guard) Codex. Long awaited codex which was surrounded by many speculations. For me, as a fan of Imperial Guard (although not an active IG player myself – I have just few models and never deployed them to battle), the codex contains few little surprises and a lot of disappointments.
